    Dong (Daisy) Zhang is a PhD Candidate at the Amsterdam School of Communication Research (ASCoR), University of Amsterdam. Her current research interests lie in communication and technologies, specifically how technologies enable the collection and use of personal data from individuals (i.e., dataveillance) and how individuals perceive and respond to such practices. Her PhD project focuses on disentangling the dynamic relations between individuals' perceptions, use, and responses in dataveillance-enabling media technologies.
