Teun Siebers is a postdoctoral researcher at the Amsterdam School of Communication Research (ASCoR) at the University of Amsterdam. His research interests include media psychology, youth and media entertainment, self-regulation, and attention.
He is part of team AWeSome (= Adolescents, Well-being, and Social Media), which investigates the effects of social media on adolescents’ mental health and well-being. By combining experience sampling and smartphone tracking data, Teun’s research focuses on how adolescents’ digital media use impacts their ability for self-regulation, attention, and sleep.
