Matthew Lombard wins ASCoR McQuail Award

Last Monday, ASCoR’s scientific director Theo Araujo presented this year's McQuail Award to Prof. Dr. Matthew Lombard of Temple University for his article: “Social responses to media technologies in the 21st Century: The media are social actors paradigm” published in Human-Machine Communication
ASCoR is very happy that Matthew Lombard was able to travel to Amsterdam to receive the award in person. In addition, he met with several ASCoR researchers throughout the day and gave an inspiring lecture about his work on site. We are very excited to welcome Matthew as McQuail honorary fellow at ASCoR for the coming year.
